It looks as though you all had a terrific time. I am really sorry I missed it, but we had to be out of our house by Monday for settlement. I am writing now from Queensland – yes Herb and I are newly minted Queenslanders! We have a cute little house\u00c2\u00a0and 100 acres of trees at Reesville, near Maleny (behind the Sunshine Coast). We have been here just over a week now, and we love it! If there are any other Queenslanders in our part of the world from the class of ’69, I would love to catch up with them (deborah@geninteractive.com.au<\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I am having a most enjoyable life.\u00c2\u00a0Since leaving school, I have done things that interest me, including 14\u00c2\u00a0years with the Adult Migrant English Service and then12 years in Corporate sector as an instructional designer.\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0finally quit my job at Cisco, and almost immediately we sold our home at Wagstaffe on the NSW Central Coast and moved up here.\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0am hoping to get part-time work as an instructional designer somewhere local – no more meetings at midnight and hasty\u00c2\u00a0trips across the Pacific!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I like to meditate in the Zen tradition, and recently did a 9 day retreat at Gorricks Run in Darkinung country, NW of Sydney.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
