\nI know you will have a wonderful time getting together and

Unfortunately I am unable to attend as I am in Queensland
\nand we are having a family reunion on the same day as the
\nWatson High Reunion.<\/p>\n
I have very fond memories of my time at Watson – great
\nteachers, great students and a principal ahead of his time.<\/p>\n

I always thoroughly enjoy reunions, but this one I cannot get to – apologies, but simply not possible at this time.<\/p>\n Watson carries only good memories for me; it was the start of my teaching career and even now, sem-retired, I still enjoy classroom interaction and the mutual learning of teacher and students. It was pretty heady stuff, starting out with that idealism of “compete only with yourself” and awarding non-numerical marks, a philosophy I still maintain – although now teaching migrant adults at TAFE level.
